Sometimes your customer’s questions are just too complicated for a computer to handle, or maybe they just really want to speak to a real person.

If the AI doesn't know the answer, or the customer explicitly types "Talk to someone", the chat bot instantly flags the message inside your dashboard as an "Escalation."

This immediately alerts your human team members so everyone knows exactly which customers need hands-on help right away.

Handoff: Taking Over A Chat

As your chatbot works on your website, you can monitor any live chat happening between the bot and a customer right inside your admin dashboard.

If you see a customer getting frustrated, or you just want to give them the VIP treatment, simply click the "Take Over" button on their chat window.

When you take over:

  1. The AI Assistant stops sending automated messages securely. You are now driving.
  2. The customer sees a notification on your website letting them know that a Live Agent has joined the chat.
  3. You can type right into your dashboard directly, and the responses pop up in real-time inside the chat widget on the customer's end!
