Snippets & Canned Responses

While your AI bot dynamically generates its own intelligent replies, sometimes you want it to use very specific, exact wording for particular situations.

"Snippets" allow you to define exact templates or canned responses that your bot can pull from when it needs to say something highly specific or legally required.

Creating a Snippet

Head over to the Snippets tab (or check inside your specific Bot's settings).

1. Click Add Snippet
2. Give it a memorable name (like "Return Policy" or "Greeting")
3. Type out the exact text you want it to use.

When the AI recognizes a user is asking about returns, it can pull your "Return Policy" snippet and deliver that exact block of text, instead of trying to make up its own summary.

Testing Your Snippet

Each snippet you create has a Test feature. This allows you to quickly type a mock message, and see if the AI accurately identifies that it should use the snippet. It's a great way to verify that your bot is making the right decisions before your live customers interact with it.
