Designing Your Bot's Personality

One of the best things about your Automatically bot is that it doesn't have to sound like a boring robot. You can give it a name, a job, and even decide how it speaks to your customers.

Tone & Voice

Inside your Bot's Settings, you can choose how your bot sounds. We offer a few simple options:

  • Friendly: A warm, helpful tone that makes customers feel welcome.
  • Casual: Great for brands that want to sound relaxed and approachable.
  • Professional: Perfect for official business help or complex services.
  • Formal: A more serious, respectful tone for structured environments.

The Welcome Message

First impressions are everything! You can set a custom Welcome Message that the bot says immediately whenever a customer opens the chat.

Instead of a generic "How can I help you?", try something specific like:

"Hi there! I'm the Automatically helper. If you have questions about your recent order or want to book a demo, just let me know!"

Identity

You can also give your bot a physical identity:

  • Name: Give it a name like "Leo" or "Auto-Assistant".
  • Goal: Tell the bot what its main mission is (e.g., "Helping customers find the right shoe size").
  • Avatar: Upload a friendly photo of a team member or a custom icon so your customers know who they are talking to.

By matching the bot's look and voice to your business, your customers will feel much more comfortable asking for help!
