Running Promotions in the Chat
Automatically doesn't just answer questions—it can also help you sell more products by showing special offers or "Ads" directly inside the chat window.
Adding a Promotion
You can set up a special promotional banner that appears to customers while they are waiting for a response or just browsing the chat.
Inside the Settings for your bot, look for the Promotions section:
- Enable Promotion: Turn the feature on or off.
- Title: Use a catchy hook like "Spring Sale: 20% Off!"
- Subtitle: Give a bit more detail, like "Use code SPRING20 at checkout."
- Promotion Image: Upload a nice photo of the product you are promoting.
- Link URL: Decide where the customer should go when they click the ad (e.g., your sale page).
Why Use Promotions?
Promotions are a non-intrusive way to grab a customer's attention while they are already engaged with your brand. It's the perfect place to highlight:
- New product launches.
- Limited-time discount codes.
- Important company announcements.
- Newsletter sign-up links.
